Chapman Middle School located in Huntsville, AL is a Title 1 school, which means many of its students come from lower-income households. Many Title 1 schools often face tough choices when it comes to funding. Sadly, programs like the arts are usually the first to lose out.
This year, the Dailonna Dozier Help Foundation (DDHF), was able to step in and support Ms. Tate Hampton. Ms. Hampton is a first-year teacher with a big vision. By providing her classroom with much-needed art supplies, we helped turn her dreams into a reality.

Ms. Hampton shared that she feels empowered and excited to bring the arts back into the classroom, giving her students the chance to explore creativity and expression in new ways.
We provided Ms. Tate Hampton with:
24 - left/right hand scissors
104 - 8x10 blank canvases
64 - Rulers
240 - pcs paint brushes
1500 pcs pipe cleaners
72 - color acrylic paint set
3 - Media Art sheet pads
We were able to clear Ms. Hampton’s ENTIRE Teacher Amazon Wishlist!
Please consider partnering with Dailonna Dozier Help Foundation, so we can continue supporting schools in our local communities.
