DDHF Gives Back this Thanksgiving: Donating Grocery Gift Cards to Families in need.

Thanksgiving is a time for family, gratitude, and giving.  Unfortunately, not every family has the resources to celebrate as they would like. With the rising cost of living and the ongoing challenges many face, we recognize the importance of lending a helping hand to those who might be struggling this season. To help families our Foundation donated grocery gift cards to families in Alabama, Maryland, Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina & South Carolina.

Through our grocery gift card donations, we aimed to ease the burden for families, giving them the opportunity to purchase the food they needed to enjoy a holiday meal. Whether it was a turkey, side dish, or ingredients for homemade desserts, these gift cards allowed families the freedom to choose what they needed most. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back, and we hope that these gift cards brought some relief and joy to families during the Thanksgiving season.

A heartfelt thank-you letter from a young student expressing gratitude for a Thanksgiving grocery card, written on behalf of his 3-year-old twin siblings who are unable to write. The family lives in Ohio.
